چکیده
Case Report History J. McA., a male aged 47 years, was first seen at a medical clinic of the Royal Southern Hospital on June i, 1954. He was complaining of attacks of unconsciousness for the past ten months. At first he had two or three fits a week, but they were now occurring as often as four or five times a day. The attacks were preceded by a buzzing in the left ear and were often followed by a left frontal headache. There had been ' soreness' of the left side of the neck since September 1953, and he had occasionally fainted when shaving this area. He had been conscious of a slowing of the pulse rate for the past ten months. His wife stated that he remained unconscious for a minute or two, that he jerked slightly and that he frequently wet his clothes.
